Students celebrate Unity Day

Students at Mission Bend Elementary School took a stand against bullying by celebrating Unity Day. All students and staff were asked to wear orange-colored clothing to show a united front against bullying. Students were also taught to recognize acts of bullying and to report any incidents they may encounter, whether at school or in the community. Pictured are (from left) Shirley Traughber, and some of her fourth-grade students David Castro, Jada Barnes, Alessandro Soriano, Kase Kuecher, Gerania Mota, Ja’Kobe Adams, and Juthan Nguyen.
