Tips on better family photos at First Colony Branch Library

Holidays and family gatherings often provide the perfect opportunity for family photographs while everyone is together. To help budding photographers take the best photos possible, Fort Bend County Libraries’ First Colony Branch Library will present a special program, “Photographing Your Family,” on Saturday, December 14, beginning at 11:00 am, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.

The program will be presented by professional photographer Gabby Malcuit, who will provide tips on how to take family photos for special occasions and of daily-life activities. Learn how to manage lighting, settings, and composition to capture special moments and preserve memories in pictures.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the branch library at 281-238-2800 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
