Intro computer classes offered at University Branch Library

The Adult Services staff at Fort Bend County Libraries’ University Branch Library, 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land on the UH campus, will present introductory technology classes on using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these computer programs.

“MS Excel Survival Basics” will take place on Thursday, January 9, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Learn the basics of using this spreadsheet software program.

“MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” will take place on Tuesday, January 14, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Learn the basics of using this presentation software program.

The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “University Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-5150, or by visiting the library.
