QV Proud Hotline 01/08/14

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY? In case of any suspicious activity inside or outside a home (any time day OR night) immediately contact the Police “NON”-emergency phone number” 281-403-8700. “Suspicious activity” can be: * Yelling * Screaming * Fighting * etc. Upon arrival, the Police Officers will determined if what is occurring, qualifies to be “suspicious” activity.

(NOTE:  When making a call like this you will be asked for your name, address and phone number but you can say:  “I do not wish to give you this information.”)

WHY NEEDED? The reason the police ask for this information is because many times people give an “incorrect” address and the police may need to have the operator call back the person reporting for clarification. If the situation is serious, the operator may ask for the caller to remain on the line with her in case the officers are having difficulty finding the “reported” address. (This could be when a person (especially a child) appears to be in “harm’s way”.)
