Travis High School athlete, Nick Harvey, was one of the nation’s top 90 high school football players to be selected to play in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl (USAAAB), which took place January 4, at San Antonio’s Alamodome.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl, also known as the East versus West showdown, celebrates the premier high school football game in the country. The game has helped launch the spectacular careers of Andrew Luck, C.J. Spiller, Percy Harvin, Jamaal Charles and many other college and National Football League (NFL) stars.

A Texas A&M commit, Harvey played defensive back for the Army game’s winning West Team, and was noted as a “talented athlete whose leadership and teamwork qualities have made him a standout.” Harvey is also rated as a Scout.com four-star prospect, the No. 5 safety prospect across the nation.
