Learn to make simple truffles at library

Learn how to make “sweets for the sweet” in time for Valentine’s Day when Fort Bend County Libraries presents a special “Homemade Truffle Workshop” on Tuesday, February 4, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the Large Conference Room at the University Branch Library, located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus.

Library staff members Amy Hingst and Jessica Williams will demonstrate how to make simple truffles without the use of a stove, double-boiler, or microwave oven. This program is intended for adults and older teens.

The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and registration is encouraged. Registration will open on January 21.

To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “University Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-5150, or by visiting the library.
