Pair busted for sale of synthetic dope at convenience store

PairFort Bend narc bust pair for the sale and distribution of synthetic substances.

On January 16, 2014, Karim Rupani, 21, of Richmond, and KC Bibek, 25, of Spring were arrested during the execution of a search warrant at the Cinco Ranch Express convenience store.

According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, the pair were operating out of a store located near the intersection of South Mason Road and Cinco Ranch Boulevard in the Cinco Ranch subdivision. Haenel explained that the pair were taken into custody on arrest warrants during the execution of a search warrant of the building where they had sold synthetic substances.

Along with Rupani and Bibek officers seized Bath Salts, Synthetic Marijuana and Synthetic Xanex.

Rupani and Bibek, face charges of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance with a $25,000 bond and an additional charge of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
