Intro computer classes offered at Sugar Land Branch Library

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at Sugar Land Branch Library, 550 Eldridge, will present a variety of free, introductory technology classes this month on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these computer programs.

“MS Excel Survival Basics” will take place on Saturday, February 15, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center. Learn the basics of using this spreadsheet software program.

“MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” will take place on Saturday, February 22, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center. This class presents a basic introduction to using this presentation software program.

The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sugar Land Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2140, or by visiting the library.
