Two former Fort Bend ISD football players will compete this weekend in Super Bowl XLVIII. Manny Ramirez, an offensive lineman for the Denver Broncos, graduated from Willowridge High School in 2002. Russell Okung, a 2006 graduate of Bush High School, currently plays as left offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks.

Okung was named to the Dallas Morning News Top 100 Squad as a senior in high school and received first-team All-Greater Houston and All-District honors. He attended Oklahoma State University and entered the National Football League (NFL) in 2010. Okung also participated in the National Football Conference (NFC) Pro Bowl in 2012.
