Travis Theatrical Company to present “Legally Blonde: The Musical”

Change in show dates:  February 6-8, February 13-15

The Travis High School Theatrical Company will perform Legally Blonde: The Musical based on the hit movie, Legally Blonde.  Due to illness, the performances on Jan. 23-25 have been cancelled.  Performances will now be held on Feb. 6, 7, and 8, and Feb. 13, 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Travis High School auditorium, 11111 Harlem Rd., Richmond.

Directed by Tommy Grubbs and Teresa Ragland, Legally Blonde: The Musical follows California fashionista, Elle Woods, who seems to have it all.  Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law School.  Determined to get him back, Elle hits the books (with the help of her sorority sisters) and uses her charm to get into Harvard Law.  At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington III, her ex-boyfriend.  With the help of her new friends Paulette and Emmett, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Tickets will be $10 for students and $15 for adults.  This show is rated PG-13.  More information about this show and other Travis Theatrical Company news can be found at
