Learn how to use research databases at library

Whether you’re looking for information for a class assignment or for your job, the research databases at Fort Bend County Libraries provide reliable, authoritative information from professional journals that cannot be accessed with a general Internet search.

The Sienna Branch Library will introduce these online resources and how to use them at a special class, “Research the Right Way: Databases,” on Thursday, February 20, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab.

The class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website www.fortbend.lib.tx.us, click on “Calendar,” select “Sienna Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2952, or by visiting the library.
