Missouri City’s 18th Annual Dad & Daughter Dance moves indoors
Due to forecasted inclement weather on Saturday, Feb. 8, Missouri City officials have moved the 18th Annual Dad & Daughter Dance indoors to the Community Center in the City Hall complex, 1522 Texas Pkwy. The popular annual tradition will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and feature a night of dancing, food and live entertainment.
This year’s dance will provide guests with a circus-themed event sure to bring a smile and sense of nostalgia to all who attend. Tickets are $30 per lady/gent pair; $25 per each additional lady. Corsages will be on sale for $20 each.
Guests will be greeted at the entrance by a circus fire act that will perform for the first hour and a balloon artist who will make each daughter a special party favor. Throughout the evening, dads and daughters will enjoy dancing, carnival games and circus-themed refreshments including hot dogs, chicken tenders, popcorn, Cotton Candy and fried Oreos. Halfway through the dance, guests will be treated to a magic and juggling show, and the evening will be capped off with an exciting confetti cannon!
All ages are welcome to attend. Limited tickets are available; purchases can be made at the City’s Recreation and Tennis Center, 2701 Cypress Point Dr. Parking will be available in the Missouri City Library lot.
