Learn how to start a business at library
Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sienna Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Missouri City, will present a program for beginning entrepreneurs called “Starting Your Own Business,” on Saturday, March 22, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, in the Meeting Room.
Financial planner Ken Wohlberg will discuss business requirements that an individual would need to know before starting a small-business venture. Learn how to organize thoughts into a workable business plan, research legal requirements, obtain financing, and develop a marketing strategy.
Wohlberg is a member of SCORE – the mentoring arm of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those attending this program will learn about resources that are available through SCORE and how to draw on the experience of other SCORE members.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 281-238-2900 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
