Community Challenge softball tournament set for March 8
As Missouri City’s growth increases in various sectors such as business development and health services, partnerships with community advocates and leaders continues to be an ongoing priority. On March 8, Missouri City will partner with AccessHealth for its second annual softball tournament at Community Park, 1700 Glenn Lakes Lane.
AccessHealth is partnering with several Fort Bend municipalities, including the City of Missouri City, to involve more community members and raise more money and awareness to help them continue providing affordable health services to the community. In its second year, the Missouri City softball tournament is part of a larger day of games to benefit AccessHealth. The T.W. Davis Family YMCA will be hosting a volleyball tournament, while Richmond will also host its own softball tournament.
“Over the past year we have made several changes with our organization, beginning with our name change and rebranding efforts, which we believe more effectively reflect our mission”, said Carol Edwards.
Sponsorships and team sign-ups are still available, for more information about AccessHealth and the center’s tournaments, visit www.fbfhc.org.
