Special Crime Alert issued

By LeaAnne Klentzman

Crime Stoppers has issued a Special Alert in their quest to identify an aggravated robbery suspect.

In late January, around 2 a.m., a lone robber crawled through the drive-through window at Jack in the Box on Highway 6S near Fresno and threatened the staff with what appeared to be a handgun in the pocket of his jacket. He got away with what Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel called “an undetermined amount of cash.”

Haenel described the lone black male suspect as about 5’8″, and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie and his face was covered. He had on light-colored pants and dark sneakers. No physical injuries were reported in this incident.

Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in this Aggravated Robbery. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.

Please contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
