Practice English @ Libraries’ Conversation Circles

Are you learning to speak English? Would you like some practice in a casual, informal atmosphere? Fort Bend County Libraries presents a program for individuals of all nationalities who would like a place to practice their English language and conversation skills.

The “Conversation Circles” provide an opportunity for non-English-speaking people to gather in a relaxed setting, and discuss topics of their own choosing while practicing their English skills.

The Conversation Circles will take place at three locations in the Fort Bend County library system. The April schedule is as follows:

•       Sugar Land Branch Library – 550 Eldridge, every Monday, 2:00-3:00 pm, Conference Room.

•     George Memorial Library – 1001 Golfview, Richmond, every Tuesday, 10:00 am-12:00 noon, Learning Lab.

•       Cinco Ranch Branch Library – 2620 Commercial Center Blvd, Katy, Fridays, April 11 and 25, 1:00-2:00 pm, Multipurpose Room.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Literacy Services Department at George Memorial Library (281-342-2652), the Sugar Land Branch Library (281-238-2140), or the Cinco Ranch Branch Library (281-395-1311).
