The Afterburner 03/12/14

All in; all done: Rosenberg has a new police chief; he was appointed by Council Monday night, and his name is Dallis Warren.
Chief Warren began his career with the Rosenberg Police Department in 1979 working all aspects of law enforcement and promoting up through the ranks to Assistant Chief in 2002. Since becoming Assistant Chief, Warren was second in command to chief to Robert Gracia, who, late last year resigned to become the City Manager.
Although Warren has been with the city his entire career, becoming chief allows him to bring his ideas and visions along with new opportunity to a department that has been under the same regime for over 20 years. With his experience and education, great leadership is expected from Chief Dallis Warren.
According to insiders, after the Council made their selection, the candidate from Pasadena Police Department clapped and congratulated both Warren and the Council for their commitment to the community and process.
However, fellow Rosenberg police officer aka: Heir Apparent, rounded up his posse and left…saying nothing and glaring. Wow, wonder if council saw that coming, it always goes back to character, huh?
Oh, there is so much more to come….
