5th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls takes place March 28

5thannualSave-the-date! The 5th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls is set for Friday, March 28, from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. at Safari Texas Ranch.

Fort Bend Empty Bowls is the single largest fundraising event benefiting East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. Guests will be served a simple meal of soup and bread as a reminder of families in Fort Bend County who don’t have enough food to eat. Although the meal may be “simple” the soup will be delicious! Local restaurants will be serving a variety of tasty soups to try.

A featured part of the event is the pottery; hand-painted soup bowls and other hand-crafted pottery items created by amateur and professionals artists from the community. These items will be available for purchase to help raise funds to help families in need in our community. There will also be silent and live auctions, sure to have something for everyone. Entertainment will be provided by the amazing Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir.

Tickets for Fort Bend Empty Bowls are only $30 per person and may be purchased at East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, or online at Sponsorship opportunities are still available. If you would like to donate to the silent or live auction, or would like more information about Fort Bend Empty Bowls contact Connie Esposito at or call 281.261.1006. Please help fill empty bowls throughout our community.

East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry has been a mainstay in the community since 1990. The Food Pantry and other Emergency Assistance Programs at EFBHNM assist over 3,000 Fort Bend residents each month who are struggling to make ends meet.
