QV Proud Hotline 03/19/14

TRASH-OFF: Keep Missouri City beautiful by joining the initiative to clean up our community! Volunteers will receive breakfast & lunch and all supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is encouraged. Civic Center Complex, Saturday, March 29th, 8 am to noon. Contact: Recreation & Tennis Center at 2701 Cypress Point, 281-403-8637.

SENIOR BINGO NIGHT: March 27th, Thursday, 6 to 7:30 pm. Refreshments and bingo for all senior citizens, age 50 and older. (You do “not” have to be a Missouri City resident to play. Residents “required” to register at the Recreation & Tennis Center by paying the $5 program fee. To learn more call: 281-403-8637.

GOLFERS: WE NEED YOUR HELP: As you play golf make a note to write down the golf hole where you see (from the cart path) dirty pools and “wrought iron fences” that are falling down and in need of paint. Email: QVPROUD@aol.com.

ALERT FOR QUAIL VALLEY RESIDENTS: FBISD is having a meeting at Elkins High School on March 20th (Thursday) , 7 – 9 PM that will deal with Rezoning and planning for the future.  We need our Residents to be aware that rezoning could drastically affect the High School that QV Residents would be attending.  We need people to email the School Board members that QV needs to continue to be zoned to Elkins HS and to also attend the meeting on the 20th.  This is extremely important because changes to Zoning could “negatively” affect our Community and our Kids.

HELP PROUD SPONSOR QV PROJECTS: Mail your (tax deductible) donation of $25 or more to: Frost Bank, Lock box Department, Quail Valley PROUD, P. O. Box 367 Dept. 06, Houston, Texas 77001.
