SMSD Superintendent search has scheduled a Town Hall Meeting tonight March 19

On February 17, 2014, the SMSD School Board hired Arrow Consultants to assist with their efforts to hire a superintendent that meets the needs of SMSD and the Stafford community.  In support of their efforts, the Stafford community is asked to participate in this complex and important process by providing input for characteristics that will be used to assess candidates.  An electronic survey is linked to the district’s home page at www.staffordmsd.org  and will remain open through Friday, March 21.  The survey is available in both English and Spanish.

Another way to provide input is at the Superintendent Search Town Hall Meeting scheduled for  Wednesday, March 19, from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Margaret Havens Library Media Center.  The meeting provides SMSD parents and Stafford residents a forum to express the qualities they feel the next SMSD Superintendent should possess and criteria which all candidates should meet.  This is not a forum to recommend specific candidates for the position.

The SMSD School Board appreciates and welcomes your input. Thanks in advance for your participation and for supporting SMSD!
