Fort Bend ISD will host All-Star Talent Draft Job Fair, Saturday, April 12
Fort Bend ISD is searching for talented individuals to fill more than 400 new positions (including teachers, campus support staff and non-campus staff) for the coming school year. To recruit “top draft picks,” the District is hosting an All-Star Talent Draft Job Fair on Saturday, April 12. The sports-themed event welcomes “rookies” and “free agents” to apply for positions in the school district.
“It’s critically important to have the best staff serving our District,” said Dr. Charles Dupre, Superintendent of Schools, “and hiring the right employees will enable us to focus on our mission to inspire and equip all students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine.”
The job fair will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the football field of FBISD’s Mercer Stadium (16403 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, TX, 77479), adjacent to the FBISD Administration Bldg. Please refer to the FBISD website for the rain contingency plan.
Individuals interested in attending the All-Star Talent Draft Job Fair are asked to bring copies of their resumes and dress in business casual attire with comfortable shoes (no shorts or high heels, please). Interviews and offers of employment will take place onsite. Refreshments and FBISD entertainment will also be provided. This professional event is open to individuals who are not currently employed in FBISD (attendees should not bring their children).
