QV Proud Hotline 04/09/14

“IT’S A BIRD, IT’S A PLANE, NO, IT WAS SUPERMAN!!!  At 7:45 am last Thursday, (“what to my wondering eyes appeared”) a man dressed in FULL “superman” attire, including the cape.  He was biking on the Cartwright sidewalk, adjacent to QV Hole #15.  His cape was inflated and it appeared that if he were not holding onto the bike’s handle bars, he could have just flown up into the sky.  QUESTION?  Does anyone know of a “crime” in progress at that time OR maybe (since he was heading in the direction of the Police Department) the Missouri City Police had called for his help?  If anyone has the answer, please Email  QVProud@aol.com.

BACKYARD GARDEN TOUR:  “This Quail Valley Garden Club Tour is set along winding creeks, mature trees and open spaces with not a “cookie cutter” home or garden in the 5 homes.  In addition, there will be a plant sale of “hard-to-find” tropical plants for your summer garden.”  Tickets ONLY $10!  DO NOT MISS THIS!

ELKINS STUDENT NEEDS HELP:  Elkins high school campus nurse, Tammie, is encouraging residents to participate in assisting one of their students.  Student Hector Iglesias is in need of blood replacement.  When:  April 10th, 7:15 am to 3 pm on a Thursday.

Come to Elkins High School (Girls Gym), 7007 Knights Court Road.  For more information, please contact Tammie at 281.634.2624.  Those who come and participate will receive a free T-shirt, cookies and juice.

HELP PROUD SPONSOR QV PROJECTS:  Mail your (tax deductible) donation of $25 or more to:  Frost Bank, Lock box Department, Quail Valley PROUD, P. O. Box 367 Dept. 06, Houston, Texas  77001.
