Rosenberg Railroad Museum to collect canned food for Catholic Charities’ Pantry

A fun family event of “Railfest 2014” on April 12 at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum will also be gathering canned food donations for Catholic Charities’ Mamie George Community Center helping families in need in Fort Bend County.

Located at 1921 Ave. F in Rosenberg, the event includes exhibits and entertainment inside and out , featuring games, crafts, live music, model train layouts, and Hobo re-enactors along with a trackless train ride from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Lisa Rickert, Event Chair, has offered raffle tickets to the public attending in exchange for canned goods or other donations to Catholic Charities.

The winning ticket will receive an electric train set valued at $75 from the museum’s gift shop.
