FBISD to host 2014 JROTC Pass in Review

The community is invited to attend Fort Bend ISD’s 2014 Junior ROTC Pass in Review, which will showcase the District’s 10 high school JROTC units (representing the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force services). This long-standing military tradition will give the community, and family and friends of cadets, the opportunity to witness a formal inspection of the District’s JROTC units.

The event will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m., at Mercer Stadium (16403 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, 77479). The audience is asked to sit on the home side of the stadium.

Honored will be FBISD JROTC cadets representing the following high schools and military units:

  • Austin High School – Navy
  • Bush High School – Navy
  • Clements High School – Navy
  • Dulles High School – Air Force
  • Elkins High School – Air Force
  • Hightower High School – Army
  • Kempner High School – Air Force
  • Marshall High School – Air Force
  • Travis High School – Marine Corps
  • Willowridge High School – Marine Corps

During the Pass in Review ceremony, the units will assemble on the football field and pass in front of the home side of the stadium to receive their review by active military personnel and FBISD’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Charles E. Dupre. Units will then reform on the field to honor the seniors and install the new chain of command. They will conclude the program by passing the reviewing stand to say farewell to the graduating seniors.
