2014 FBCA Softball Team – Way to go!

Coach Kelly Carroll started coaching at Fort  Bend Christian Academy in 2007, and under her leadership Eagles Softball has amassed 100 consecutive district wins in the past eight seasons. As TAPPS 4A State Softball Champs in 2013 (as well as 2010, 2009, and 2007), the Eagles are ready to compete.

This year’s team includes three seniors who have signed national letters of intent to play at the collegiate level: pitcher Lizzy Fox has committed to the University of Texas-San Antonio, pitcher and shortstop Haley Meinen will play for the University of Arkansas, and catcher Kendall Brown has committed to the University of Houston.

Coach Carroll and Assistant Coach Kelli Jacoby expect this season to be as exciting as the past for the team, “We’ve played some great schools, great teams, against some outstanding players. I am so proud of our players and the hours of work they devote to be really ready to play ball.”
