Stafford MSD: Did You Know…

As part of the commemoration of Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month, the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission hosted a video competition open to ALL Texas students in grades 6-12.  Themed “I Was a Bystander,” the goal of the contest was to encourage students to self-reflect about times when they stayed silent in the face of hurtful behavior and think about what they might do in similar situations in the future.  Stafford Middle School was one of ONLY two Gold Key Winners for Grades 6-8 with their video “Don’t Stand By”.  To view all winning entries, open the link for the complete list

Sing, Sing, Sing!  Stafford Secondary Choir Students competed in the “Music Across Texas” Choir Contest May 3, at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio.   They will also perform at the Choir and Senior Recognition  Awards Ceremony in the Stafford Civic Center on May 15.
