10th Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon to he held by Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors

Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors Foundation, in conjunction with Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors women’s social organization, will hold its’ 2014 Joint Annual Meeting & Scholarship Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 15,  at BraeBurn Country, Club located at 8101 Bissonnet, Houston.

Join them in celebrating “Education:  The Key to Success” as they honor and recognize the deserving students of Fort Bend County who have been chosen to receive this year’s scholarship awards.  Fort Bend County’s very own distinguished, Dr. Charles Dupree, Superintendent of FBISD, will emcee this special program.

Joining Dr. Dupree will be local author and motivational speaker, Jan Bethancourt, sharing her straightforward wisdom to “Know Your Heart, Trust Your Instincts, & Speak Your Mind”.

Social hour begins at 10:30 am.  The luncheon program kicks off at 11:30 am.  Reservations are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.  Reservation deadline – May 5, 2014.  No walk-ins.  For more information about this event, please email Foundation@fbfn.org or call 832-451-6923.
