Lurking in the bush

By LeaAnne Klentzman

Students arriving for music lessons got a lesson on animal habitat the other day in Missouri City.

Seems a very large and rather handsome alligator, you know…one that has … Lucchese all over it, was basking in the shade of a mailbox shrub as kids arrived for music lessons. It doesn’t really matter if you’re inclined to envision finer footwear and handbags or feel the need to hug a gator… the interim action is the same….gator’s gotta go!

So…it was Gator Rodeo! Giving a whole new meaning to the mean streets of Mo City, huh?

This misguided reptile has escaped leather soles and a fancy clasp…he taken by the Game Warden to a nearby county to be released in the wild.

Good thing he chose a music aficionado’s yard…or he could’a been bagged and tagged and headed off to Lucchese!

Mail carriers beware!
