This year, PSRW is May 4-10, and Missouri City is hosting some activities to honor its public service employees and their pride, professionalism and commitment to service. Highlights on the 2014 agenda include:

• City Council Members will issue a Proclamation honoring public service employees at their Monday, May 5 Regular Meeting at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.

• The annual “Employee Service Award Luncheon” will be on Wednesday, May 7

• Employees will enjoy an “Ice Cream Social” on Thursday, May 8

• Staff will participate in a “Barbecue Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off” on Friday, May 9

Nationwide, the week provides government agencies an opportunity to showcase the tireless efforts of public employees. In the “Show Me City”, City Council and senior management want Staff to know their dedication to duty and diligence is valued.
