St. Laurence students provide blankets for children in distress

stlaurenceNational Elementary Honor Society students at St. Laurence Catholic School created blankets for children in urgent or crisis situations.  Blankets are handcrafted by the SLCS National Elementary Honor Society and will be donated to organizations in the Sugar Land area which serve children through the organization, “Project Linus”.  “Project Linus” blankets provide a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.  Thanks to the SLCS National Elementary Honor Society “Blanketeers”, 33 blankets will be donated to children in distress.
