The 10th Annual Impact A Hero 5K Walk, Run and Wheel set for May 17-19

Houston Texans JJ Watt, Army Sgt. Rick Yarosh (Ret.), SSG Paul Brondhaver, and KPRC's Sports Director Randy Mcllvoy will be at the Gala at Reliant Stadium.

Impact A Hero Weekend gives the community an opportunity to join national celebrities in thanking our severely wounded servicemen and women for sacrificing their minds, bodies and sometime their lives.

This is a three day event beginning May 17- May 19, and they anticipate more than 3,000 runners, including 50 wounded heroes and their families. The Kids’ 1K Race will take place during the 5K Walk, Run and Wheel. Children will have fun running with the Texan’s Toro! Afterwards live concert entertainment.

• Honorary Chair: Houston Texans Coach Bill O’Brien

• Cost per person: $25, Kids 1K (Age 10 and under) $12

• This is a family focused event.
