FBISD seeks community input in planning ongoing safety and security of students and staff

Safe and secure schools are top priority for Fort Bend ISD. Over the past few months, District administrators developed a preliminary Safety and Security Master Plan, which provides a roadmap for the future planning of the District’s safety and security needs. The community is invited to provide input through an engagement process designed to ensure the preliminary plan addresses the FBISD community’s views and values.

Community dialogue meetings scheduled:

• May 14; 7-8:30 p.m. Clements HS Cafeteria, 4200 Elkins Drive, Sugar Land

• May 15; 7-8:30 p.m. Bowie MS Cafeteria, 700 Plantation Drive, Richmond

The FBISD Safety and Security Master Plan will be finalized and presented to the FBISD Board of Trustees during the summer of 2014.
