By LeaAnne Klentzman

Knife wielding, multiple-offender is the target of this week’s Special Crime Alert!

Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect involved in two robbery cases.

According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, the man wanted in a pair of Katy area robberies is described as either white or Hispanic, about 5’10” to 6’ and has a husky build, with close cropped dark hair.

In the latest robbery the suspect stole about $200 in merchandise, when approached by a store clerk, he threatened that employee with a knife.  That incident was on May 10,  about 10 p.m., in the 6600 block of S Fry Road in north Fort Bend County.   This same man is also the suspect in a FM 1093 grocery store robbery that occurred on May 1, 2014.

During the May 10, robbery the suspect was wearing an orange safety vest and a dark blue shirt.  He has been seen leaving the scene of at least one of the robberies with a female and fled the area in a late model, possibly 2011-2013 gray Ford F-150 four-door truck.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.  Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc.  Call (281) 342-TIPS (8477).

All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
