Christian Lee and Colin Scott of Boy Scout Troop 1845 has received the rank of Eagle Scout.

These young men, sophomores at Clements High School, began their Scouting journey as Cub Scouts.  Christian began a Wolf Cub Scout in 2005 with Pack 1882 at Commonwealth Elementary School; Colin started as a Bobcat in 2004 with Pack 1700 at Colony Meadows Elementary School, and completed his Arrow of Light in 2009.

Their path to Eagle Scout involved numerous camping nights, merit badges, leadership positions and service activities.

Christian achieved numerous positions in his Scout troop including Instructor, Patrol Leader, Scribe and Guide.

Colin has served in many leadership positions in Troop 1845 including serving as Senior Patrol Leader, the highest scout leadership position within a troop.  He attended the National Youth Leadership Training and is a member of the Boy Scout’s national Honor Society, Order of the Arrow.

As part of the Eagle requirement, each boy was required to complete an Eagle project demonstrating both leadership and planning skills.

Christian, in addition to building tables and moving and reassembling wooden shelves for the Gracewood Women’s Shelter, oversaw repairs of their sprinkler system.

Colin led a group of 17 friends, Scouts and Scouters in laying brick pavers at Colony Meadows Elementary School.  He also cleaned and waxed a bronze statue in the school’s Butterfly Garden and refreshed the paint on the curbs and other areas around the school.

Both Eagle Scouts remain active in Troop 1845 and are academically recognized students at Clements.  Christian is a member of the Clements Baseball team, Red Cross Club and plays guitar and piano for his church youth worship team.  Colin is a member of NJROTC and the Latin Club.
