Hightower High School’s Digital Media Academy to host summer camp for students entering grades 5-8

Hightower High School’s Digital Media Academy will host its second annual Digital Media Academy Summer Camp for students entering grades 5-8 who are interested in film and video, graphic design, 3D animation, web design, broadcast journalism and photography.

Participants will complete activities in digital storytelling, stop motion video, Photoshop, photography and news cast production. They will also learn more about the Digital Media Academy and its course offerings, view videos produced by current academy students, and explore the various career paths available.

The session dates are June 16 and 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hightower High School, 3333 Hurricane Lane, Missouri City. The cost is $100, which includes lunch, snacks, and a camp t-shirt. Registration is Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the lobby of Hightower High School.
