Charles “Chuck” Herbert Fredrickson

Charles “Chuck” Herbert Fredrickson, 75, made his trip to heaven on June 14, 2014. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Vera and Herbert Fredrickson and made his home in Houston, Texas when the energy business brought him here. Chuck earned his undergraduate and Masters in economics at Texas Tech University after serving in the army.

Chuck met his loving wife, Maureen, 21 years ago and they lived in Houston, Ireland and then Stafford, Texas where he worked part-time teaching economics at Houston Community College and the University of Phoenix.

Chuck is survived by his son, Michael Fredrickson and his wife Lisa and their children Kathryn, Carter and Jack his daughter Cortney Crouch and her husband Steve and their children Sammy, Tobin and Isabel and daughter Nancy Teeples and her husband Ryan and their children Liam and Collin.  He was preceded in death by his step-daughter Sherry Carter.

He was also loved by his step-son Jason Conley and his children Kathryn, Madeleine and Jacob and step-son Kevin Conley and his wife Katy and Kevin’s children Karissa and Kayla and his step-daughter Erin Sanders and her husband Herman, and their children Sarah and Jenna.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, June 21 at 2:30pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7901 Westview Dr. (at Wirt Rd.) Houston, Texas 77055. Interment will be scheduled at a later date at the Houston VA National Cemetery.
