Sugar’s Land July 4 Star Spangled Spectacular to be held at Constellation Field
Fort Bend County’s largest Independence Day fireworks and family entertainment show is Sugar Land’s Star Spangled Spectacular is set for July 4, from 7-10 p.m.
The festivities will culminate with a 15-minute patriotic display that will light the sky over Constellation Field, 1 Stadium Drive.
Fort Bend Salutes America, a group of regional musicians, will perform patriotic music for the capacity crowd just prior to the start of a pyrotechnic display rivaling any in the region.
It’s a show described as constant action — radiant color combinations, amazing effects such as crossette, twitter glittering, rings and color-changing chrysanthemums will be mixed in to illuminate the skies in Sugar Land.
The grand finale is intended to be the ultimate crowd pleaser and the most exhilarating part of the display. The sky will erupt with multi-color peonies and thunderous salutes expected to leave the audience wanting more.
Live It Up Productions will also perform during the Star Spangled Spectacular. Other entertainment will include fun-filled family games and interactive inflatables. Shriners Hospital will provide face painting and balloon art, Pinots Palette will host a painting lesson/class and the Indo American Forum will give away free bottled water.
The Star Spangled Spectacular at Constellation Field is free, but tickets are required to enter the venue due to fire code requirements.
Concession stands at the stadium will offer an assortment of food and beverages for purchase. Outside food/beverages will not be allowed.
Parking is limited at the stadium, so residents are encouraged to take advantage of a free shuttle from Kempner High School, 14777 Voss Road, from 6-11 p.m.
