Local FCST swimmer to represent USA in Open Water meet

Two First Colony Swim Team (FCST) Senior Elite swimmers recently competed in the USA Swimming Open Water National Championship meet in Castaic Lake, California.

Christopher Yeager, age 15, placed 16th in the 10K and 3rd overall for 18 & under boys.  His time of 1:54:47 qualified him to represent Team USA at the 2014 Junior Pan Pacs and also earned him a spot on the National Junior Team! Chris and Team USA will head to Hawaii in late August to take on other countries like Australia, Canada, and Japan.

Teammate, Peyton Quattlebaum, also had an outstanding performance finishing 15th overall in the 5K with a time of 1:01:41.
