Keep Texas Beautiful, a statewide grassroots environmental and community improvement organization, recently named Missouri City Green a Silver Star Affiliate during its 47th Annual Conference in Austin.  Missouri City Green successfully implemented programs to prevent litter, reduce waste, beautify community areas and educate local citizens over the last year.  The February tree planting event co-hosted with Missouri City Parks and Recreation at the Edible Arbor Trail was a highlight of the recognition.

Missouri City Green is a non-profit organization that seeks to foster and encourage local residents to take responsibility in the community through recycling, planting native trees and plants and other earth-friendly activities. For questions or more information, email info@missouricitygreen.org.
