University Branch Library to present MS Word series
University Branch Library will present a series of classes in August on using Microsoft Word 2010. The classes are free, and participants may attend individual sessions or the whole series. The University Branch Library is located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land on the UH campus.
The first class, “MS Word Survival Basics,” will take place on Wednesday, August 6, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Learn the basics of using this word-processing software program.
The next class, “MS Word: Intermediate,” will take place on Wednesday, August 13, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. Understand this word-processing program even better by learning more advanced functions and tools.
The final class, “MS Word: Advanced,” will take place on Wednesday, August 20, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Computer Lab. This class is for experienced MS Word users who would like to learn how to enhance documents with new, even more advanced skills.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. Registration will open two weeks before each class.
