Fort Bend Cares hosts two Volunteer Informational Socials

FortBendCares_logoEver want to get involved with a non-profit as a volunteer but not sure which one is right for you? Or are you already volunteering somewhere but want to try something new? Join Fort Bend Cares as it hosts two Volunteer Informational Socials where you can find out how to get involved with the organization, a local non-profit now in its 10th year serving disadvantaged children and youth.

The first event will be Thursday, Aug. 21, 11:30am-1pm at the Fedrick Harris model home in Waterside, Riverstone Development, Sugar Land (5003 Water View Bend). Lunch will be provided by Riverstone.

The second one is set for Thursday, Sept. 4, 5:30-7pm at Another Time Soda Fountain in Downtown Rosenberg (800 Third Street). Enjoy Another Time’s famous soda fountain drinks and more!

Fort Bend Cares staff and volunteers will be on hand at both socials to discuss upcoming volunteer opportunities including the 2015 Road Trip and Doggone Fun Run events. Attendees for either social are asked to RSVP to Fort Bend Cares Executive Director Angie Wierzbicki at or 832-819-2005.
