EzyBizPlan training workshop at Sienna Branch Library
Anyone who is considering starting a new business is encouraged to attend a hands-on workshop on how to create a business plan at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sienna Branch Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd. in Missouri City.
Having such a plan is an important asset when seeking funding for a new business. This EzyBizPlan training workshop will explain the 12 critical elements of every business plan, beginning with creating a customized model, assessing the competitive quality of that model, and converting worksheet data into a professional business plan that financial lenders will appreciate. The workshop includes workbooks and hands-on assistance for creating a real and relevant outline that can be used to launch a business.
The workshop is presented by Dick Hall, founder of EntrepreneurResources.org. Hall serves as a volunteer advisor for SCORE, a mentoring arm of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Calendar,” select “Sienna Branch,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-238-2952, or by visiting the library.
