Do you have questions about breastfeeding? You are not alone! While natural, breastfeeding is a learned art. Research shows that the biggest factors in a mother’s breastfeeding success are her determination and access to good information and support. If questions come up during your pregnancy or after your baby is born, you are welcome to call a local La Leche League Leader and/or to attend a La Leche League (LLL) of Fort Bend meeting.

Pictured below are some of the LLL of Fort Bend Leaders who are happy to speak with you. Leaders provide free phone helping to moms with breastfeeding questions and also host two free meetings each month that are open to any interested women (babies welcome as well). La Leche League is a non-sectarian, non-profit volunteer organization offering mother-to-mother support, encouragement, and information to women who want to breastfeed their babies. We seek to support all women, whether they nurse their baby for one day, one week, one month, one year or beyond.

LLL of Fort Bend’s evening meeting is on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. Our daytime meeting is on the third Monday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church Family Life Center.
