www.katyrodeo.org/parade.asp on Saturday February 23, , 9:30 pm. The Americanism community service project “GIVEAKIDAFLAG” by the Greater Katy Exchange Club started in 2005 in which the volunteers handed out over
4400 flags prior to the Katy Rodeo Parade.
The club has made it a tradition each year of passing out free flags during the parade as over 900 Exchange Clubs across the nation pass out flags at different events.
The KISD Rodeo parade will begin at 9:30 departing the west gate of Rhodes Stadium turning south on Katyland Dr, then west on HWY 90 to Katy High School.
The Exchange club is made up of men and women who make a difference in the Katy area through Community service projects and giving back to the community. Ft. Bend Pct 3 Constable Rob Cook helped Sponsor the costs of the Flags in 2007 and 2008 and provides a truck for carrying the
flags and volunteers as needed.
