Debbie Levine and Carolyn Plessner, co-chairs of the Houston Chapter of Hadassah’s 2008 “Women of Courage” luncheon honoring Joan Alexander and Karol Musher, have been
working diligently to ensure a successful event. The benefit, entitled “Think Healthy, Grow Strong”, will be held on Sunday, March 2 at noon, with a silent auction beginning at 11 a.m., at the Westin Galleria Hotel.
The Sugar Land resident, Debbie Levine, is past co-president of the Mazal Hadassah Group in Fort Bend, helped create the concept of the Women of Courage luncheon in 2004 as a fundraising event for her group. Levine has served as an active volunteer with the Fort Bend Heart
Association for six years. She has been active in the Fort Bend Schools serving as a mentor to students and holding many positions at schools and has served on the Fort Bend I.S.D. Health Advisory Board. She is a graduate of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Forum.
