Dr. Richard Blackaby, author and inspirational speaker will keynote Second Mile Mission Center’s 4th annual fundraising dinner on Friday, April 4 at Marriott Town Square in Sugar Land.

“Dr. Blackaby’s message will inspire us to reach new heights of service as individuals, families, churches and a community,” said Mike Mulcahy, chairman of Second Mile’s Board of Directors. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Blackaby here to share his unique perspective with our community.”

The annual dinner and silent auction raises operating funds for Second Mile Mission Center. Businesses, organizations and individuals from throughout Fort Bend County support this event through sponsorships and donations to the silent auction.

“We will enjoy a fine meal, beautiful music, the opportunity to participate in the silent auction, and an inspiring, challenging message from Dr. Blackaby,” said Greg Stirman, Second Mile’s Interim Executive Director. “This will a great opportunity for our community to learn more about Second Mile and become a part of this community service.”
