The 2007-2008 Dulles High School Boys’ Basketball team was honored in the City Council Chambers in the Sugar Land City Hall on Tuesday, April 1.
District 23-5A Basketball Coach of the Year Mike Carrabine led his team to the Texas Region III Championship and the 5A state championship game, only to fall to #3 nationally-ranked North Crowley.
The Dulles boys team, which started the year 21-0 and ranked #1 in the greater Houston area, ended the year with a 34-5 record, and a national ranking of #30, according to Rivals.com (see:

Senior Shawn Umeh and Junior Dre Harrison were both named to the UIL All-Tournament Team in Austin. This team represented Dulles High School, Fort Bend County, and Region III in the state tournament in Austin with a tremendous amount of class and poise.
