Mission Statement
To reduce youth involvement with the juvenile justice system by establishing positive
relationships between youthful offenders and volunteer mentors from the community.
Additional Information
Fort Bend Partnership for Youth is a mentoring agency targeting youthful offenders between
the ages of 10 and 17. Individuals from the community are recruited, screened and trained.
They are then individually matched and assigned to boys and girls who are referred by the
Fort Bend County Juvenile Probation Department. The mentors have consistent contact with
the youth, averaging 2-4 hours a week.
