
Miss Amanda Elizabeth Reitz and Mr. Brian
Thomas Gosline were united in marriage on Saturday, May 26,
2007 at half past seven o’clock in the evening at St.
Theresa Catholic Church in Memorial Park. The traditional
double ring ceremony was officiated by Father Phil Lloyd and
the Reverend David Fish. Music for the ceremony was provided
by harpists Ms. Pauline Le and Ms. Catherine Le, soloist
Mrs. Lisa Venerella and organist Ms. Katie Hunt. Following
the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a receptionist at
The Parador. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents
hosted a rehearsal dinner at Grappino di Nino. The bride and
her bridesmaids were honored with a luncheon at Amici’s in
Sugar Land hosted by the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Sally
Soutar.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
David L. Reitz of Missouri City, Texas. She is the
granddaughter of Mrs. Nancy Lee Reitz of Boerne, Texas and
the late Col. John D. Reitz and Mrs. Sally Soutar of Sugar
Land, Texas and the late Mr. Norman E. Soutar.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edwin Gosline of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs.
Betty Snell of Springfield, Illinois and the late Mr. Edwin
Gosline and the late Mrs. Marjorie Zimmerman and Mr. Edwin
Gosline of Springfield, Illinois.
Given in marriage by her parents and
escorted by her father, the bride selected an elegant white
a-line gown fashioned of silk organza and Alencon lace
designed by Rivini. To complement her gown, she wore a pearl
and crystal necklace designed by her aunt, Mrs. Debbie
Lowry.
Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. April
Machock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashley
Kunco, Ms. Whitney Hale, Ms. Jeanette Benico of Houston, and
Ms. Natalie Stone of Austin. Junior bridesmaid was Miss
Emily Robleto. Flower girls were Miss Grace Robleto, Miss
Abigail Howse and Miss Ryanne Machock. Members of the house
party were Mrs. Erin Robleto, Mrs. Sara Howse and Ms. Sarah
Jefferson.
Mr. Paul Gosline, brother of the groom,
served as Best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Jeremy Barta, Mr.
Jason Griffin of Houston, Mr. Aaron Barta of Ventura,
California and Mr. Chris Walker of Humble. Serving as ring
bearers were Master Taylor Machock and Master Aury Robleto.
Mr. Frank Machock and Mr. Kevin Meers served as ushers.
Amanda is a graduate of Elkins High
School in Missouri City and Louisiana State University in
Baton Rouge. Brian is a graduate of Sharpstown High School
in Houston and The University of St. Thomas.
Following their honeymoon in the Caribbean, Amanda and
Brian will reside in Houston, Texas.
