The engagement of Megan Elizabeth McAndrew, daughter of Mr. Atwood McAndrew III of Sugar Land, TX and the late Mrs. Lynn Davis McAndrew, to Adam Blake Thelen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thelen of Sugar Land, TX, is announced by the bride’s father.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Clements High School, and a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, TX with a Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry. Megan is currently employed at Elkins High School as a 9th grade science teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Dulles High School, and a former student at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, TX. Adam is currently employed at ECO Resources.
